Open a checking account with Direct Deposit

Complete! Our first Double D was deposited last Friday. And actually, we get the money in our account at 1 am Fridays, compared to 10 am when hubby gets home from work and finally to the bank. Yippee! :D

Got temporary checks from the bank today, as we haven’t gotten our actual checks in the mail yet. We’ve already voided one for work, so they can start the process of direct deposit. I’m super excited. No more driving all the way to work on a day off just to get our stupid checks. And with winter coming, it’ll be great to save ourselves an icy drive. Direct deposit gives a new meaning to the term Double D!

Now we just need to get Direct Deposit. It should be done in a few weeks. I’m so excited!

But it’s gonna happen. Some day, when we’re ready, we will open a new checking account and use it like adults do. And we’ll get Direct Deposit so our checks are instantly put in it.
