watch a movie

not worth it

I don’t want to just watch a movie. I want to watch an entire movie from the beginning to the end without stopping. Usually I float in and out of the room while a movie is playing because I have better things to do. But I would like to sit and watch just one. Some day.

A few nights ago I finally sat down and watched Baraka. Luke had told me several times I would hate it and has gone on many times about how much he hates it.

Well, I didn’t hate it. I actually quite liked it. I thought it was a beautiful and moving look at human spirituality. It was the right movie for the time. I kind of regret sending it back to Netflix as quickly as I did because I could certainly watch it again.

I found this website today. Clean and efficient design. They’ve got plenty of handpicked movies and TV shows. I’ve started the (very) long journey into the Lord of the Ring trilogy. And to do this, it seems they’ve built/rebuilt a playlist with all the videos uploaded by people on YouTube or whatsoever. So it does look like you’re playing a DVD with plenty of chapters.
