I had sooooo much fun doing my boudoir photo shoot at the Bed and Breakfast just a few miles from my house! The pictures came out GORGEOUS… the photographer and his assistant were super professional and amazing. This was extremely empowering and a self esteem booster for me. I felt sexy, beautiful, powerful, and basically like the best girlfriend EVER! (Which, by the way, this was so perfect! When I got the pictures done they were for my boyfriend, but by the time I got the CD they were for my fiancee!!! Yup, he proposed. Perfect timing, eh?) Anyway, I think EVERY woman should have this on her bucket list. It is seriously an awesome experience! And now I have a very special, priceless and timeless gift for my fiancee. 5 out of 5 stars! :-P 18 months ago

this weekend i’m going shopping for my outfits ;) and having a consultation at a hair salon to get a smoothing treatment (gotta have that sexy victoria’s secret angel hair, not my caucasian afro pouf) and also to ask about getting a bikini wax (it will be a brazilian day all around… victoria’s secret, brazilian blowout, and a brazilian wax!) i’m super excited for this :) it’s also kind of perfectly timed, my boyfriend’s bday is november 12th, and if it’s not ready by then i can just make it a xmas present. what i think i’m gonna do is get maybe one or two prints framed and show him the cd with the digital images to pick his favorites, then go get those pictures printed professionally as well and put into an album for him to have <3 i'm soooooo excited for this, honestly :D 19 months ago

it’s this cute little bed and breakfast not too far from my house. the room i picked is really nice, it’s yellow and has a really pretty bed that i think will photograph nicely. also, i found a friend. well actually, it’s my mom. i know, you’re thinking, “isn’t that a little awkward? actually isn’t that super awkward?” but it’s cool, my mom and i are really close, and my mom did some modeling when she was younger so she gets it. she actually told me she thinks it’s really cool and something she’s wanted to do for ray for a long time (my stepdad). who knows, maybe after my shoot she’ll actually go for it? plus, if it gets too awkward, i can always ask her to sit in the other room or something. anyhoo, i picked a place, reserved it for the nights i need it, and am so excited! it’ll be such a nice present for danny, plus it will be something i can have forever and always be proud of myself for doing. 20 months ago

To determine my total daily calorie needs, I would multiply my BMR by 1.375 (for someone who is lightly active, or who exercises lightly 1 to 3 days a week). 1274×1.375 = 1751.75. So this means, to maintain the weight I am at, I need to consume 1751.75 calories a day. Or, to gain weight at the rate of 1 pound a week, I would need to increase that by 500 calories a day. So, I need to consume 2251.75 calories a day. I’ll round to 2250. Hmm I better make this a separate goal… 20 months ago

Not sure yet which I’ll choose but I’m looking for a nice atmosphere with a lot of natural light… found a few bnbs that have really pretty furniture and windows and stuff like that. I decided I should try and gain like 5-10 pounds for the shoot (i’m underweight at about 98 pounds right now) and try reaaaaaally reaaaaally hard to leave my face alone so my skin clears up! I also need to buy a new lingerie set for the shoot and figure out if any of my friends is willing to come along (the photographer recommends this for support and comfort). So:

1. Pick a location and reserve my room
2. Gain 5-10 pounds
3. Let my skin clear up
4. Buy a new bra and panty set
5. Find a friend

but he no longer operates out of a studio. he does all of his work “on-location”, meaning i have to find a place for this shoot to take place. my house isn’t exactly suitable nor ideal for something i want to be so sexy and awesome… so i’m looking up different hotels and bed and breakfasts to find somewhere that i could do this photo shoot and really like the background in the pictures… i e-mailed him back to see what his limits were travel-wise (he’s based in harrisburg and i’m in northern maryland). once that’s established, i’m going to start looking for a place. this is going to be such a nice surprise for the boy! yaaaaay! so excited :) 21 months ago

Before I go in the Peace Corps. We want to try and make it as a couple even though I’m going to be overseas for 2 years (with a few breaks), and I know it’s going to be really hard and I also am aware of the risks and that we are taking a chance that we don’t end up together anyway. I would love to be able to give him an album of boudoir photos to have while I’m gone. I’ve always thought boudoir photos were “classy sexy” and just beautiful. 21 months ago
