Sooo. Yesterday I scored the highest that I have ever scored. ......wait for it….165 :). I am sooo happy. It is four points than my highest score….okay. I did allow 4 minutes extra for the other sections (RC and LG) but I am very happy about my score. It is funny..but since I have taking some time to kind of chill out it seems that some of the concepts have sunk in a little more. I am going to study 4 times a week. and take a Preptest each weekend. I am registered for the Feb test but I am going to push it back I am not going to take the real exam until I hit 170’s in my prep. I got nothing but time.

Every thing is soo crazy right now. I think I will have to delay until Feb. I am moving & I am the main caregiver for my grandad. It’s crazy. I don’t want to use that as an excuse but I feel like I am not in a good mental place. Delay is not Faliure (I hope :)).
So…I have been preparing for the LSAT on my own up until now. I improved 7 points already! Yeah me. Anyway I decided to take a class to really kick it up a notch. So the goal within this goal will be to complete my homework for every class before the class and also to preview the chapters. Another goal is to take at least 1 LSAT per week. So here we go!
Okay. So I have been doing fairly well. I had a 7 point increase over the weekend! 3 more months to go! My class starts next weekend!!
Now it seems sooo soon. I have got to get back in gear. I have been studying a little bit a day but not nearly as much as I need to do. I don’t won’t to beat myself up but I got to get back into the game.
The little count down thingy is really helping me stay focused. 155 days until I take the test. Crazy. Happy studying peeps.
I have decided to take a prep course. Powerscore to be specific. I intially planned on preparing alone but I don’t want anyone to have the upper hand. I can’t let the fact that I am poor keep me from this achieving this goal. It’s 1100. I guess I have to consider it a down payment on my future.
Hey folks they are changing the June 2007 LSAT to include a comparative reading comprehension section. The most significant change in like 15 years. So if that freaks you out a bit you should consider taking either the December (I think it’s too late) or the Feb Test. Good Luck and God Speed.
I really wish there was a step by step plan that you could follow that would lead to this goal as the end result. Well…I will be taken the exam in June so I have lots of time. I will enroll in one of those classes. Testmasters or Kaplan (thoughts??) Before I do I think reading more will help me overall in this on the test. I might pick up a few logical & analytical reasoning books. I will really start to clamp down a month before I enroll in the class.

“What is a good way to start? I know I have the skill but the first time I took it, the test tripped me up and I got a 144. Any suggestions? Is a class really worth it when it's that expensive?”
