JudithKD I had a goal to get rid of 4018 things this year and I did! jkd

I'm giving up right now because 22 months ago

DH doesn’t know if we’re keeping the old computers, or not.

So, until he decides, this is pretty meaningless, yes?

I found the epa site that talks about this: 1 year ago

There’s two (extra) computers sitting in my bedroom right now!

It is gone and donated to a local school. They even gave me documentation for my taxes.

Today I discussed this goal with my sister over coffee. She works at a middle school and said if I clear off any personal info and haul it to the porch, she will stop by this week and take it into school.

AND I ACTUALLY DID IT. Just now. I uninstalled one banking related program for an account I no longer have and a car loan on the car BEFORE this one and deleted any semi-personal files. I did not keep much of anything on that PC – just some games and whatever software was installed when I bought it.

    Unreal.

As anyone who “knows” me (which is few and far between because I am not so great at joining in the conversations) on this site is aware, my goals are seldom completed and even less commented on. Usually the only ones I actually mark off are wishing someone happy birthday and even that is only if Todd Schoonover reminds me.

Almost having this completed feels really great.

Excellent goal - thanks for adding! 2 years ago

The spare room at my house SHOULD be a nice, cozy office space. Instead it has a trundle bed, an old dresser that belonged to my grandfather, 2 filing cabinets AND a IBM PS2 purchased in the late 1980s – early 1990s and not used in more than 10 years. I cannot even remember the last time it was turned on.

One of the reasons I have not disposed of it is because I am not sure where to take it. The other is that there is probably personal info on it because at 1 point I was using Quicken or something like it at the time.
