catattack is getting on with life.
and we were sitting at one of the outdoor cafes next to the amphitheatre. Ahhh, indeed. We ate a leisurely lunch, sipped our tea, watched the Veronese (and the Brits and the Germans and the other Italians) slip by with their tots and frisbees, enjoying the sunny day. Outside the amphitheatre were several oversized Egyptian obelisks, no doubt to be used later for the staging of Aida. If we got tired of watching the passersby, we could always stare at the Sphinx. Could anything be more like heaven?
