Live in Switzerland

The Swiss government has recently tightened immigration rules so this seems to be further out of reach than it could otherwise have been. I would still very much like to visit, especially in summer.

and most importantly it was my grandmas favoirte place she visited
i want to live there someday

I wasn’t sure whether to write Worth doing or Not Worth Doing. I lived in Zurich, and personally didn’t enjoy living there much, because I LOVE hot weather, and winter there was… unbearable for me. And some of the encounters I had weren’t great.
But for other people, I’m sure it would be a very enjoyable, great experience. Switzerland is a very interesting country, with a lot of great scenery, etc.

Lived in Zurich from 1996 to 2001 and then in Bern from 2002 to 2003. Best things were the wonderful friends I made there, multiple trips to France and learning to ski in the best places in Europe!

I’m in love with their clean air and clean water. I’m in love with their government. Plain and simple: I want to be Swiss.

I am currently living in Geneva Switzerland being an au pair. It is amazing here! Living in another country for at least a year is something that everyone should do. It gives you a new perspecitive on so many things.

Immigrant-hating people from certain areas of Switzerland (you zenophobes know exactly who I mean) make it impossible to settle in here comfortably. I just had my work permit revoked after working here a year and being married to a Swiss citizen for two years. . . The reason - none!!! Furthermore, women were only given the universal right to vote here in ‘96, not 1896, but 1996! I rest my case. I want to relocate to France - fast!!! I have had 2.5 years to much of this country!!!
