How I did it: When I opened my glove compartment and saw that it was looking messy, with all these insurance, registration papers all over, I decided that I needed to make a change.

In the past, I saved EVERY insurance card, registration, vehicle emissions.  Why?  All I need are the current things and get rid of everything else. 

My SUV's glove compartment didn't look so bad as I had only had it for 4 yrs, but I didn't want to let it get like the other vehicles I had. 

Anyway, while I was stopped at various traffic lights, I sorted through the things that needed to be kept and the stuff that didn't, which was most of it.  Put those in 2 piles.

When I got home, tossed out the garbage stuff, the other stuff in the shred bags, and I needed to put a rubber band about the other stuff and put it back in the glove box.

Now my glove box, as well as this area below my radio where I keep pens and pads of paper is now neat and organized.  No papers falling out everywhere. Read how I did it… 4 years ago
