Well, I finally heard back about my play submission for the 10-minute play festival down in Hollywood.
Thank you again for your submission. Due to the number of pieces we received, we have not finished selecting all the winning scripts. BUT! We are happy to tell you your submission was chosen as a finalist! We will further narrow down these remaining pieces and notify winning playwrights as of June 1, 2008.

At this time, we cannot produce your piece as part of our upcoming August show. We will keep your submissions on file and contact you when we are able to include them in a future production. Oh well. Being a finalist is pretty good. I’ll look for more places to submit it to.
