    What worked for me: 4 years ago

    8 hours sleep every night

    less caffeine, more water

    breakfast with protein

    know your triggers

    eat a banana during a panic attack

    get medication if you need it

    When I lose my grip and start to have a panic attack, I camp out on the bathroom floor with a book of crossword puzzles till it passes or I fall asleep. I also took BuSpar, and got counselling and that really made a difference when things got out of control.
