have my own place

It wasn’t my intention to have my son and I living with a with an elderly couple who are annoying and value MY POOR DAD VALUES over a MY RICH DAD WAYS to live and be happy in this world. I want out by the end of this month.

Why do I want to live exactly in those cities where there is a huge shortage in livingspaces? It is sooo frustrating. I’m a nice person, I really deserve a nice place to live, but instead I’m stuck at my mum’s at the other side of the country, most of my things stored at the attick of my sister’s house and in my mum’s house the pile of books, clothes and paper/notebooks/college stuff getting higher and higher.

I WANT MY OWN PLACE! I NEED IT! I want to get organised and just have a place to call my own home again :(

Last week I moved in a temporary home. An acquaintance was going to the States for four months, and I was going to live in her house till December. But, of course, after one week she came back (suffering from panic attacks), demanding her house back. So next Monday I have to move out – I don’t have a contract, as it was a deal between friends – and I’m on the street yet again. Well not literally, but back at my mums house, 2 hours away from University (and in the Netherlands, that is a really long distance).

It sucks, it really sucks. I have such bad luck that I start to wonder what’s wrong with my karma. Or something. I’m looking for a place now for over a year, how hard can it be!!

Pure bliss would describe having your own place. I only have one word of true wisdom…You may get the urge to walk around naked in your new found freedom. Which is fine, just don’t do your hair while you are sans clothing. Specifically do not use a HOT curling iron while you are naked. I don’t know…you could burn your left boob and have to deal with 2nd degree burns on a very tender area of your body for the next few weeks. Needless to say…I ,um, learned my lesson.
Other than the permanent scarring, I am truly loving my beautiful apartment overlooking the pond and the Lincoln park zoo. It is peaceful and perfect and best of all, I have complete control of the AC and the remote. Ah, peace.

Since I left my parent’s house I want to find a place to call ‘home, sweet home’. And I want to do it untill the end of 2008, no matter what.

Bye bye roommates, hello privacy! Living alone is one to the best things I’ve ever done. I have two kitties to keep me company and everything is mine and I don’t have to worry about other people’s stuff or messes. So relaxing!

It’s terrifying. I gave it back. So I guess it doesn’t really count, but I paid for it, so whatever.

Whatever it takes that is legal and moral…

My dad asked me to think about waiting to get a place, as apparently he’d like to take my mom on a roadtrip out of Florida for anywhere from a couple weeks to a couple months. There’s Christi(indoor cat) and Garfield(outdoor cat) to take care of along with plants, etc. I talked with my mom seriously about it and told her I’d like to help, but when they were done with that I’d want to move out. It’ll save me money and them money & worry so I think it’s not a step back, but a step forward. I’m moving my stuff into a storage unit temporarily to get it out of here for when my sister and family are here. I’ll also try to sort stuff out as I’m doing that! Woo-go me!

Found the cutest table and chairs-very modern at the thrift store and thinking about getting them to put in storage unit….but its not something I need, so may just save the money for something else-like treating my nieces outrageously!

I must have electricity and live in a neighborhood I trust my stuff will be there when I return. I’d also want to have a kitchen-doesn’t have to be huge or anything.

Wants list would be things like a pool, exercise room, second floor or higher location, big closets, close to work, close to things I enjoy and pet friendly. Pet friendly could go under needs as I would love to have a pet again-possibly a cat/kitten.

Searching for the best deal, some have utilities included, some have some of the amenities I’m interested in, and some are just cheap cheap cheap.

Plus I admit sheepishly that I might be swayed to a beach location…have almost always wished to be on one…
