I travel to the other side of the Big Island, Hawaii, a lot. So I have to wake up early to catch the bus. The sun rises around..430-5ish but it doesnt peek over the moutian till about 530. But when it does it is so BEAUTIFUL.
The morning mist is still in the air, making it slightly chilly too. I love the transition of nature when the sun rises from night.
Sunsets in Hawaii are so easy to view. There are a couple SUPER good spots to view them but at the beach is the best. Plus, the vibe at the beaches during the sunset is pretty cool and I’ve met some interesting cool people watching the sunset.

I really wanna do this, I live on the east coast of the US and plan to watch it rise in Georgia, since the weather in early summer is great, and watch it set in Northern California because its a lot more peaceful than Southern California. Any suggestions?

Jenny is working on this list
I love watching nature, whether it is the full moon on a sheet of sparkling stars or the clashing ocean waves pulling the sand into itself. I hope I can do this with someone who will appreciate it as much as I will. <3

There is something so profound about watching time
pass. . .
I really can’t explain it. It’s beautiful thing, especially when paired with a lovely cup of tea and a loved one. I look forward to doing it again.

I did this at Lookout Mountain Georgia on a retreat with my church. It took us two days of promising we would do it and on our final full day we were woken up at five and marched out of our rooms. It way worth it.

I’ve done this, but what is more challenging is watching the sun set and THEN watching the sub rise. I’ve done that too…

One night, I was up all night talking to my bf, and I didnt go to bed at all. I stayed up. So I had about…20 minutes sleep for 30 hours. I saw the sky turn black, and then I kinda saw the sunrise. Can’t really call it a sunrise in England, but I did stay up and see the dark black sky fade to blue..
