I’m a little scared of what New York raindrops might contain, but I’d love to give this a try. Not sure if we’ll get much rain for a while—how about a picnic in the snow?

Worth doing!
Before I moved out here, I and a friend used to go on a picnic on lunch break every couple of weeks. Once we really got caught in this …almost flash flood. It was funny. We ate ham sandwiches full of water. Everybody laughed when we got back to work, but in a nice way.
Worth doing!
We got a load of our friends together a few years ago and went punting (that’s travelling in little flat bottomed boats that you push along with a long pole) in Cambridge…
We got to the place where we were going to picnic and got everything set out and it started to rain.. so everyone just got out their umbrellas and carried on. It was so atmospheric and it still gets talked about. I wouldn’t plan to do it on purpose but it was fun.
Giorgio and I have got a date with the devil . . . who knows . . . he might ride me like he stole me . . . in the rain . . . on our picnic blanket . . . during our ride her like you stole her picnic in the rain.
Sir Aaron is Labouring
I do believe the key to a picnic in the rain is to always have several spots in mind and be prepared for spontaneos coaxing of a perfectly appropraite picnic partner.
Of the cities I know like the back of my hand (Seattle, London, San Jose, & My Small Home Town) I know of several perfect locations.
When that perfect springtime rain hits and you happen to be perfectly situated near a P.P.P (perfect picnic partner) you have to move like Zorro in the chambers of Don Diego’s wife.
That would be so neat, food getting wet and everything. All I need now is to get friends that don’t think i’m crazy for wanting to, and wait for it to rain.
