I wear make up when I need to, such as when I’m at work. I’m an esthetician so I like to look like I know my way around make up. But I routinely don’t wear make up as well. I mean, I’m not a celebrity, nobody cares if I look a little tired while I’m walking around Target. :)

    I never wear make-up 2 years ago

I don’t even think about it. I stopped when I was 15 and I will definetly not start with it again. Think about boys, they (most of them) don’t wear make-up, so why do women? I think it’s wierd. A sign of insecurity. And think of all the money you’ll save giving it up. Use it to feed someone in Africa why don’t you? :) There are much more life quality enhancing things to do with both time and money to waste it on covering your face up and being nervous if you haven’t. Celebrate a make-up free life in joy and freedom! Yeah.

    no makeup! 2 years ago

i did it. two days at school sans maquilliage!

and amazingly, it gave me quite a self-esteem boost. no one even seemed to notice, except for my friend vanessa, who said that she liked me better without it. :)

I do it all the time. If you feel comfortable with yourself, people aren’t going to think there’s anything weird about it. Everyone has natural beauty—the purpose of makeup is to enhance the way you look, not cover you up. So if you go without makeup, you’re not “naked”, just a little bit less dressed up!

This Should Be Easy.. 3 years ago

...Since I’ve left my makeup inside my purse at Adam Suttons house and won’t be retrieving it until tomorrow night.

    make-up/schmake-up 3 years ago

If I don’t feel like putting it on, I don’t. Like those wacky Dr. Bronner soaps say: Health is the best cosmetic and it’s true. I even got carded today when I bought a cigar (for a friend who just had a baby. well, not him, his wife did).

the point is, I got carded. the sales guy says he always cards when he thinks the person is around 25. (and I’m not!) after he looked at my ID, he handed it back; had me sign the sales slip; then handed me the bag. it was at this point he said, “well, you obvously eat your veggies.”

    :-)

Try it sometime... 3 years ago

It’s amazingly liberating to be sitting at work one day and realize you haven’t worn makeup in about 3 days because you’ve either just forgotten or been too lazy to put it on…

You get used to it 3 years ago

I only wear makeup for special occasions, if I feel like it.

I have done this many times 4 years ago

I have received more compliments without makeup then when I do have it on, I don’t go over board, eyeliner, chapstick, mascara. It’s not as scary as it seems, I do where make up more for me, but when I am out with the kids or the S.O. I try to look good for them, so good luck, you can do it.

I’ve been wearing makeup since I was 13 (15 years). It’s rather difficult to let people see me with out my face on. How sad. It’s just plain annoying now too to have to keep makeup around and buy it all the time. I’d like to be rid of the stuff. I just feel naked without it.
