I know the bare essentials of knitting and have made some very basic things (scarf, hat, stuffed animal, washcloth) in the past. I have some yarn and lot of needles and will find a project to do and finish it.

Michelle is back from her holiday
i’m planning on knitting some cushion covers for my mum, in pink and white, because she said she likes the colours, and cushion covers sounds quite simple, and it’s almost christmas so maybe it will be another surprise for her =]
I’ve been wanting to do this for a while – my biggest problem was I couldn’t keep knit/purl stitches straight, and most of the patterns I was in wanted you to knit in the round, which I don’t have the tools for. So finally I decided, heck, improvising patterns works when I sew, so… And, hey, it worked! I’m wearing my spiffy-new wristwarmers as we speak, and I can’t wait to try knitting something else.
lovedd won't screw up.
Well, it’s been a year since I picked up my needles, and I’d like to, again. Maybe I could start with a handphone pouch, but eventually I wanna make a sweater or hoodie.
Dude, I’m totally knitting a purse! It’s awesome. It’s not going to look that great since it’s my first project, but it’ll be decent enough to actually use… and I can tell people that I made it… and totally make stuff for other people once I get better… is it weird that I am way over-excited about KNITTING?!
I’m also thinking about eventually knitting for charity…
Pyxidragon is time travelling for the weekend. Mostly.
It was…okay. Not a needleart I’m terribly interested in, but I figured I’d try it once to see if I changed my mind. Not so much.
Here are my first 4 1/2 squares!!
Once i finish my paint by numbers im going to learn to knit! I really want to buy a kit and knit myself a patchwork-style blanket! =)
I knitted a gray scarf all of last year (taller than me by the way…but that’s probably not saying much) and today I got bored so I brought out some wool and have been knitting squares of wool.
