How I did it: I got up early, too early really - and there it was a few hours later, waiting. I spent the day with friends and when we drove home, there it was again. Read how I did it…
Once again, to do this with a very special person. I want to watch the sun rise in the morning and watch the sun set on the same day in the evening.

I’d love to get into the habit for a while of being up in time to watch the sunrise and then watch it set in the evening. Being outside at dusk when there’s not a single sound apart from those of nature and being able to appreciate what you can’t in the hustle and bustle of the day time. When the colours of the sky look like a watercolour painting. Quite like when it’s dark outside on a starry night. You can really comprehend just how small you are in comparison to the great scheme of things.
It’s beautiful.

Seeing them both on the same day would be amazing, better yet having the time to do it and enjoy it would be even more amazing.Enjoying it with someone I love would be great too. I have seen some awesome sunsets.
fotobug Experiancing Everything Beautiful
I have seen many beautiful sunrises and sunsets. This goal will be to see a sunrise and a sunset on the same day with the ocean as a backdrop. Counting the gulf of mexico as an ocean this could easily be obtained by driving accross the state of florida.
Sometimes I stay up so late that I get to watch the sunrise. It’s a beautiful way to end my day.
Last year when I was studying in New Zealand a group of some friends and I decided to do a sunrise hike. We left after school on a Tuesday evening to camp out for the night and wake up in time to hike. On about 3 hours of “quality” sleep we woke up around 3 am to being our 3 hour hike up a mountain to watch the sunrise. Being that exhausted and doing a strenuous hike was initially not very fun. But once we reached the top it was all worth. With cloud rolling in below us, colors, and snow around us. It was one of the most breath taking and blissful moments I have ever experienced. This was glorious and I would do it again in an instant!!!
to each day. you forget the difference after awhile, it just marks that time when the sun decides to say something and everything stops to watch it.
