How I did it: I went to France! Of course, I plan to continue incorporating champagne into my plans, but I just had the whirlwind tour so I think it's time to cross it off here!
Lessons & tips: santé
Resources: Visited friends in France, one who really knew his stuff and took us to his friends wine shop for tastings!

in the fridge for impromptu life celebrations…but champagne…just a few sips.
Hello headache.
Give me a wonderful Pinot or Zin.

Everything, everyone and everywhere is better with champagne. It’s happy juice!
Champagne, sparkling wine, prosecco, cava … it’s all wonderful. There’s something about a glass of champagne that conveys glamour, celebration and conviviality all at once. Red wine is so somber, cocktails can be garish, but champagne manages to enter the evening with an exciting pop of the cork and exit gracefully at the bottom of the glass. In my mind, it’s the perfect drink for any occasion.
A very wonderful gentleman at the bar at Rick Erwin’s kept ordering it. They ran out of the Chandon (which I love), so I got upgraded to Piper-Heindsieck (yum). Ah, what a night!
They serve champagne to the actors. Even though I wasn’t in this production, I got some bubbly, which, I might add, was better than what they usually serve (which still isn’t bad). I had to drive home, so I had to exhibit some self control. How unusual for me.
Twas lovely. Much better quality than the nigh before. I was fortunate enough to have a few splits bought for me, so I could still afford gas to get to work.
I switched to champagne midway through my evening, keeping my goal in mind. It wasn’t French, and it wasn’t the best, but about what you’d expect for an everyday split.
I think I will cash in my quarters and get a bottle White Star, one of my favorites.
