I have a very messy corner of my basement that would make a perfect play area for my newborn, I just hope I don’t ruin it for her by not getting things put away!

He watched the baby (played guitar hero) while I tackled the basement. Very pleased with the results. Now I just have to freecycle everything I was able to discard. I did the bookshelf too. I would never admit it to my DH but I actually enjoy organizing stuff. I think he knows but I still try to get some extra chores outta him since he’s benefiting from my declutter break throughs.

My basement looks like a tornado has hit it. I need to get down there and throw stuff out or donate it. I need to get a new shelving system and get it organized and usable. It is a great space just have to much crap in it to use effectively. I want to make this my crafting and sewing area but I need to get it organized first…
I need to go through my basement and donate or toss anything that we do not need.
I made a really good start before the holidays so it’s in much better shape, but it’s not DONE. At least now I’m not afraid to go down there and get lost.
If I put in an hour each week, this should be done in no time.
P and I spent a couple of hours working on the basement yesterday and made lots of progress.
organizing, because ‘The Simpsons’ was at the top of my list today, and frankly it seemed like I had more responsibility toward the basement right now than toward Homer.
