Leftover inspiration from the devil root beer

(band i like…friends are in it… but i liked the band before they became friends…)

baby venom is touring UK in the May/June and needs merch to sell and recoup some $$$ so I have made them bookmarks to sell. we’ll see how it goes. bookmarks are the only medium in which I feel I have enough experience to offer a quality product at a reasonable price (free to baby venom—but the Brits have to pay!!!)

i liked some of these. most of them were based on images that i found on the internet.

i found this image as a photograph. i looked at it and did this sketch with a great hurry for my lithography class. among the other images i choose to show to my professor, this was the one i wanted her to pick. i’m glad she did!
when i looked at the picture (P. sent me a long, long time ago) and found it just perfect, it made me thought about Gavin Rossdale’s new hit “love remains the same”. because the more i stare at this rough drawing, i feel, i do feel exactly the same. and yes, this is my muse.
