stay home more

So why am I wasting all my time running around? Inshallah tomarrow I will just stay in here. Except I have to take my kids to school and then pick them up. And I want to stop by my husband’s work and hang out with him a little bit. And we will swing by the library on the way home. So from 5am-7:10 I will be home and then from 9AM-1:30pm I will be home and then from 4pm on. Mabey I will move closer to the school or something…

We have too many outside activities that all seem “vital”. Well, after a week of not having anything scheduled, I feel so much more peaceful and relaxed. So I have decided to cut back on the early intervention that I wasn’t happy with anyway and reduce PT time. Also, DH said he’d grocery shop for me. And it seems a good time to familiarize #1 son w/bus route to college! I’m excited to see how it goes.

Yesterday I stayed home all day (well, except for taking the kids to the park in the morning and a quick trip to the grocery in the afternoon), and it was really, really nice. No work, no getting ready for anything. I got a little bit of housework done in the afternoon, but I just really felt relaxed and at peace. I need to do this a couple days a week. Maybe I should move my Friday class to Thursday so that I have Friday completely free. We’ll see how it goes.
