refreezer is stressed, out of balance, and feeling much better
I now eat more roo than any other meat. Once you know how to cook it it’s so much easier to get a good result than with beef. I find beef mostly tough, bland, and expensive now, although I can still appreciate a top-of-the range beef steak cooked to exactly medium-rare. ;; and roo is much better for the planet.

I had a kangaroo sausage. I didn’t know what to expect! But it didnt taste bad at all! Just a little stronger than beef.
I’d eat it again for sure!

I’ve had stew, steaks and kangarro tail soup. Its a lean flavoursome meat.

The kangaroo was definitely better than the alligator. We tried both last night at an Australian restaurant here in Winnipeg called Billabong. The kangaroo was easier to chew and kind of tasted like sweet brisket.
It was better, but also, I don’t think I want to actually be eating kangaroo everyday. It feels weird if you think about it.

I had kangaroo jerky in Australia and it was very tender. Very tasty, too.

I was surprised to see other people who wanted to eat kangaroo meat. I remember hearing/reading somewhere that they eat them in Australia and I’ve wanted to try it ever since just so I can say I’ve eaten fucking Kangaroo. My friends think I’m nuts when I say it.

I liked a good beef stake better than a gourmet kangaroo stake. And cow is a bigger animal. So, beef it is.
