yankeevtLetter to N.H. elected officials regarding Ed and Elaine Brown

So I wrote a “form letter” to Sheriff Michael Prozzo, Rep. Matthew Houde, Rep. Carla Skinder, Senator Peter Burling and Gov. John Lynch. I printed my full name, address and phone number on the letters. I’m sick of living in fear of the government. Maybe I’ll be put on some government “watch list” once this letter is sent. I don’t care any more. I encourage everyone to write to N.H. government officials regarding Ed and Elaine Brown. If you want your letter to have the highest impact possible then write it from the heart. Write it like you mean it. Make it personal. Make it count. Certainly, my letter is not perfect but it gets the point across and that’s what matters.

Here is the letter I wrote:

Dear ____,

I am writing to you today regarding Ed and Elaine Brown of Plainfield, New Hampshire. I do not know the Browns personally. I have never met them, spoken with them, or communicated with them electronically. I have never delivered supplies to them. Simply, I am a concerned citizen who happens to be watching this story very closely from the State of Vermont.

I am encouraging any and all government officials to end this conflict in a peaceful, mature, and non violent manner. No amount of overdue tax money is worth the price of a human life. Please, do not deprive Mr. and Mrs. Brown of their right to life. It is imperative for any and all government officials to back off of the Browns in order to de-escalate this situation. Another means of resolving this situation MUST be found immediately. This country does not NEED and does not WANT another Ruby Ridge or another Waco.

I want to remind you that MANY people across the world are watching this situation unfold. Blogs and message boards regarding the Browns have popped up all over the internet which means people across the United States and the world have the ability to read about what is happening to Mr. and Mrs. Brown.

Also, I want to remind you that you are an ELECTED official which means the success of your next election may depend upon your ability and desire to end the Ed and Elaine Brown situation in a humane and peaceful fashion. Your conduct regarding this case is being scrutinized very closely by people across the globe.

Thank you very much for your time and attention. I will pray for you, all government officials, and the Browns until this situation is resolved in a non-violent manner.

A very concerned citizen of the State of Vermont,

I encourage people to click on the “This is how you can do your part (VERY IMPORTANT)” link. If Ruby Ridge and Waco are any indication of how the US government deals with people holed up on their own property then I suspect that this situation will end in death. I’m thinking about writing up a “form letter” and sending it out to the listed officials. The government needs to be encouraged to end this stand off peacefully.

Is it right to kill people who refuse to pay taxes? Is it okay for the government to kill people in order to get their money? If it is then what’s next? I don’t know. I don’t have any easy answers. The whole situation is just so frightening.

Thank God Janet Reno isn’t in office. If she was then these people would be dead by now. 5 years ago

yankeevtAnother Ruby Ridge????

Were you horrified by the incident at Ruby Ridge? Did your stomach turn when you watched Waco burn? I fear that another Ruby Ridge/Waco type incident is unfolding in the State of NH. Ed and Elaine Brown are refusing to pay federal taxes and are barricading themselves inside their NH home. They have outfitted their home with solar panels, a water well, and gun turrets (Ed and Elaine called them “decks” or “towers” not “gun turrets”.). They have 18 months worth of food. The police have threatened to arrest supporters of Ed and Elaine and charge them with “aiding and abetting the enemy”. Randy Weaver, a survivor of Ruby Ridge, is supporting them. Please take a moment to inform yourselves of this situation.

The Concord Monitor has been covering the story. They can be found at http://www.concordmonitor.com. Please read about how the cops confiscated the Brown’s SUV. 5 years ago
