Communicating with family and friends has greatly improved this year. So far, I have sent several emails with updates on what we’ve been up to. I’ve also set a couple of webpages so they can see our pictures.

Nevertheless, I still want to communicate in the form of a newsletter, but I’m still learning html, and I need further practice. Hopefully, I can send one before the next solstice in June.

I need to do this semi-annually, not once every 3 years. I’ll work on getting the next one out around the first of the year and start working on ideas now.

Finally! And Hooray! 3 years ago

I swear, that newsletter could have written itself faster than I wrote it. It was a big one too, many items to list, updates on the move, upcoming exhibits, events, and past sales.

Happily, sending out a newsletter tends to drum up a few responses from the quiet masses and today was no exception. I got one response back this evening from a former freelance client of mine (last fall) and I mistakenly have sent him fine art updates from time to time… this time he was interested in making a purchase. If he does indeed follow through I may have achieved two goals in one which would make me very happy indeed.

Oh! And another response was from a friend of mine in Florida who I’ve met only online, but anyhow, he teaches at a college down there and he’s been made curator of the college gallery. He told me to enter the call for artists in the fall… this could mean another exhibition opportunity! And one in Florida at that… and one near my soon to be home town! crossing toes this could be a great way to get started in a new town for sure. I’m so eager and giddy about it all.

Anyhow… hoorah to a successful newsletter!
