have my ring re-sized

My high school ring came out way too big for my ring finger. I’ve been wearing it on my index or thumb but it just looks ridiculous like that. So I need to get it resized, I’ve been putting it off. They’re closed today but I’ll go in tomorrow- that’s it!

Big surprise. I even saw the silversmith at the market where she works. Can I just assume this will never be done?

But I don’t think I will get this taken care of again this year.

For one thing, my middle finger’s acting up.

Then there’s my otherworldly inability to make this happen.

Will be back on Orcas at the beginning of April.

Just got back from Orcas.

I had the ring in the car.

I saw the silversmith and talked to her about the ring.

Still didn’t get around to this.

The silversmith said she’d resize it—I just have to go to a jewelry place here and make sure I know exactly what size the ring should be. Easy! Should only take me about a year.
