play the entire Myst series

good

i played the myst games (the first is the series) when i wasnt even 6 yet. I became obsessed over it but i never reallty had the chance to complete any major part
but i had my fun running around in the observitory, near the pyramid, IN THE PYRAMID, in the cool pool thingy
and i remember playing “The Manhole” in elementary school and every time, thinking of MYST but i never got a chance to play again.
or course, like every hidden supprise, i ran ito it again some time later and decided to play all 5 and the version for DS

I really want to do this, but I can’t get a single one of them! Odd, for something labelled as a “classic” and “the best of all time”, you’d think it’d be easier to find.

Definitely worth it :) I’ve played all the games sooo many times, except to D’ni and PoTS [I’ve started them but haven’t finished]... but I consider myself finished with the series, anyway. I have no way to play URU currently, though; I bought my MacBook Pro about a year ago after my PC had died, and don’t have Windows on it :(

Riven is by far my favorite, though. I like some of the ages from the other games better in terms of appearance, but the puzzles, story and all the awesome little details in Riven make it a game of which I can never grow tired :)

Ah, btw azriley, you could get the Myst 10th Anniversary Edition, it should work on newer computers. It has the first three games, plus Riven is a one-disc version as opposed to the original 5-disc one :)

but it is for windows 98 or earlier and isnt compatible

I WANT TO PLAY THIS GAME

So, I’ve been through hell and back trying to figure out what is up with Exile. I bought two different copies of the game and they both have the same glitch ( or it’s my computer ).

It goes like this: I play the game for about 7 minutes, get really into it, and then BOOM the game screen is minimized suddenly, and when I pull it up I can’t move the game cursor-hand, quit the game, or save it. So I end up with 7 Exile boxes on my bottom toolbar and have to manually crash my computer to restart everything.

Has anyone had any similar problems or have any more technical know-how that me (cuz I’m not THAT savvy about this stuff )?
