    My “local” Irish pub has Pub Quiz every week and my friends have had a team since 2000. It’s very nice being a regular, and until the bar staff rolled over, I could walk in and a nod to the barkeep would have my drink pouring, no words needed.
    I’ll miss that when I leave New York.

    Good pubs with college crowd in Galway, some good places in Dublin but too touristy, great place with trad music in Waterford at Doolin’s, I make a sidetrip there every year!
