send more postcards

Postcards are a good way for me to work on my other goal (of limiting my internet time). Last night, I started with one to my Grandpa. It was just a quick little San Francisco postcard to update him that I’ve graduated college and wish him a Happy Father’s Day weekend. Perhaps today, I will work on getting back into the groove of the postcard sending community that I used to belong to (but have long since neglected). Seeing as it’s only 9am and I’ve already spent 16 minutes on the internet, I think postcards will be a good distraction.

I have nieces & nephews…& even my nanna – when I am away I will send postcards!

This is easy, so I’ll count it done.

Two cards bought in the Netherlands, posted in Belgium.

I was seeing the other person I would have sent to on my return journey, so didn’t send one.

Three postcards sent from the post box half-way up Mount Fuji.

Once again, only one postcard… I was seeing everyone else I would have sent to during or straight after the trip.

But again… I managed to send a postcard. Hurrah for me!

It was made slightly more difficult this time because normally I write and post at the same time as my lady does… but this time she was writing while I was driving.

I only sent one postcard because it was a weekend away and I’ll probably see most people I’d send one to. But I sent one. From holiday.

It won’t count towards goal completion, but it’s worthy of note.

I sent four postcards from my Finnish trip. Even bought the stamps in Finnish.

Oh I am so clever! Woohoo!

I’m tired of postcards already.

Going to Finland in a few weeks… I must work out who I’m sending postcards to, and make sure I have their addresses.
