But since I’m using Spark People now to track my food and exercise it doesn’t make any sense to duplicate information anymore on 43T as Spark People is better designed to handle the counting of fitness goals.
People doing this are also doing these things:

Tuesday – 30 minutes on Nustep level 1 – 175 calories burned
Time to get serious by recording my exercise times on 43T to hopefully change how this has not been happening. Also to make things realistic from the start I won’t count Sunday as part of the week as I know if its not finished by Saturday it won’t get done on Sunday.
Just realized that my pedometer is no good as it is over counting my steps like crazy. At least the pedometer was a freebie so I’m not out any money from it turning out to be useless. So I’m going to rename this goal to from ” walk at least 5 miles a week” to “exercise for 30 minutes 3 times a week” which I’ll be able to track.
Sadly this week has had enough short thunderstorms to keep the trails too wet for hiking. Looks like I might have to go with the loose generalization that walking a mile burns around 100 calories and substitute in the cardio machine for calories equivalent of the miles.
I just now finally got my pedometer calibrated by figuring out my stride length and entering it in. Now I just need to start wearing it to figure out how much I’m walking now and see about adjusting this goal to a level that is both obtainable but challenging.
