How to do more with friends

How I did it: I started through the internet basically. Just log on to an Instant Messanger, such as Windows Live Messenger, or AIM, and ask your friend's for their address or screen name. That way, you can talk to them online, alot more often if you don't see them everyday. That way, you can arrange days out and fun things to do. You could just invite them to a party, or offer to go shopping or something. Get their phone number, and text, call, chat...Just a happy text once in a while like 'Hey, hope your day is going well,' can really put a smile on someone's face.
Lessons & tips:
- Try to talk to new people, and make new friends. That way you can arrange more days out and become more involved with new people.
- E-mail a old pal and catch up with them, and offer to go for a coffee and chat up on things.
- Go to the movies together, bowling, pizza, shopping, or just go to each other's house and talk. Every little thing boosts your friendship in some way.

Spontaneous dinner

Just had a spontaneous eating-out with friends because of their wedding anniversary. I texted congrats and they invited us to join them. It was nice to spend time with them again. I’ve been avoiding them because they had a child 9 months ago and that kind of chaves but it was okay. They’re not a annoying-parents kind of people. That’s a relief.
Also got a lunch appointment with a friend I haven’t spoken too forever, that’s good. So: working on it!

My goal for this year is to be positive and share the love with my friends. Give and share more of myself, and try to always be there for them when they invite me in to their lives :) I am SO lucky to have such great friends!

Sleepover Week

This week I went to two, yes two, sleepovers. I stayed at my friend, Carla’s house on Tuesday, and we went to watch Juno at the cinema on Wednesday (Juno is probablythe best movie I’ve ever seen by the way, check it out!) and then last night (Friday) I slept at Jess’ house with Eden and Alex too. We went for dinner at this cool restaurant Downtown, and stayed up all night talking. It was so much fun!

Walkin' and Talkin'

Alex and I talked for a while today. We chatted on the computer and I sent her an e-mail. She called me and we walked around the town for a while. I knocked at Carla’s house and she said I can stay at her’s tomorrow night, so I’ll have to call her to say I can!

Swinging for Glory

Me and my friends went to the park today. Yes, and we had fun too! Swings, running and just talking. It was great! I even fell in the mud and got laughed at by some weird teenagers, but I don’t care!

Jess is having a sleepover this Friday and I can’t wait! I’ll be able to meet up with some people from school and it’s gunna be great fun! :)

Me and my friends haven’t been out all Witer, because it gets dark earlier and it’s so freakin cold! I’m sure when Spring comes, I can tick this goal off my list.
