sell paintings i have made

size:22.5”x15.6” unframed. Done on handmade paper. I have done this on the sea shore spending evening time, spent atleast 4/5 days.

i dont really want to. but i am still going to bele chere. that needs to be in stone. put that on the new list.

told me about a festival that they have up in asheville in july, and i applied to get a booth there next year to sell some of my paintings. if i can’t sell something in asheville, i can’t sell anything anywhere… it is the artsy-ist town around here.

One day maybe… This is probably a goal from the first time I tried to make a 43things list, and it has been there since. I don’t see this happening anytime soon, because (first and mainly) I am way to attached to my paintings to let go and(secondly) I don’t even attempt to market myself that way.

Oh well. I think I will leave it up as a goal for now, but I don’t really ever see it happening, honestly.

Most of it is abstract tape & acrylic collages that I particularly like, but recently I have been trying to get into more organic forms that are more harmonious and less chaotic.

Man, I sound like I am getting old. Time to put the ripped up tire on the wall – K gave it to me after her ex drove off all mad and he lost a tire while driving and she picked it up and painted something in red on it and gave it to me. I used to really like really obnoxious art that most people didn’t ‘get.’ What happened to me? Age, marriage, home, responsibility.
