I spent all of that time building a doghouse and they won’t go near the thing. Save yourself the agrivation and just buy one.

i got one for free from this guy that i met at petsmart when i was going to buy a dogloo. free.

$159.99 for a cedar one
$159.99 for a dogloo.
I think I will drop $300 bucks at superpetz and get a dog house and a self-cleaning kitty litter pan at the same time. probably worth doing both.
