Okay I’m 28 now. My view of my family has changed immensely over the last 10 years. There’s still alot we don’t see eye to eye on, but I don’t care anymore. I don’t really feel like I have anything to prove anymore. I have finally come to terms with actually being a lot like my sister, that’s probably most of why we never got along. However, now we both seem to be a lot better at showing respect for each other. For one, she is a GREAT MOM, and as the wife of a special forces army man, she makes the best of hard situations and is very patient when she has no idea how the army will be changing her life next. Over the holidays I met up with my family at my parents house: Parents, Sister – Rachel, her 4 kiddoes – Noah, Silas, Raina, & Sule (New spelling of the old-fashioned name – Sewell), and my GrandMother (Whom I haven’t seen in years). It was sooo wonderful to see them all.
