I almost can’t believe I did it!
So many cheesy old horror movies…it’s taken me nearly a year to watch all of them, but it has been worth it.

Wow. That’s a lot of cheesy old horror movies, but it’s been totally worth it so far.
The last one I watched, “Monster from a Prehistoric Planet”, was a doozy.
I’m assuming that it was originally in Japanese since…well…the actors were mostly Japanese, and the words and the way their mouths moved didn’t match at all.
And the monsters…wow. They looked like a cross between dinosaurs and giant mutated chickens. The could swim like submarines, fly, and breath fire. Obviously, they used these skills to save the baby monster and destroy much of Tokyo.
It was pretty awesome.
Eight left!
I’ve been rather distracted by my Vincent Price collection…
Anyhow, I’ll probably watch another old horror flick before the day’s out.
Only eleven more to go…
I’ve also bought the Frankenstein and Dracula Legacy Collections, and a collection of Vincent Price movies. I’ve been watching those off and on, so I’ve been a bit distracted…but pleasantly so.
Oh, I also bought the 1933 version of King Kong. It was five dollars, so I really couldn’t resist.
Ah, my library grows!
I’ve watched 31 out of 50! Whoo! That’s only…19 more to go.
Just thought I would make a note of my progress.
If you don’t know what I’m talking about, I bought this DVD collection a while back. It’s got 50 classic horror movies on it (think Nosferatu, Night of the Living Dead, The Terror), and I’ve actually watched over half of them by now.
My only real complaint is that it doesn’t have any of the Dracula movies with Bela Lugosi, or the Frankenstein movies with Boris Karloff…but on the other hand, it does have them in a lot of other good roles.
But anyways, it’s a very good collection, and I think it’s a great way to get an introduction to older horror movies.
