This started out as building a remote operated vehicle for underwater exploration. Think “Little Geek” from the movie The Abyss but on a far less ambitious scale.
Unfortunately, my stupid ass saw a homemade submarine clip on Youtube. Type in “Diving Persistence (a K-350 submersible)” and you’ll find it.
Now I want the real thing. The K-350 is a two person submarine rated at 350 feet. Another version, the K-250, is rated at 250 feet.
When we move this Fall (bigger house with large garage) I’ll start this project. And yes, it will take some time.
My wife is thrilled.
