I want to start off by listing all the goals I currently have and their status, so here goes…
- See all the films that have won the Best Picture Oscar
- Watch all movies on AFI’s 100 Best movies list
- See all the movies on my Netflix queue
These first three goals all kind of fit together. A lot of the Best Picture winners are on the AFI list, and all of the Best Picture winners and AFI list movies are on my Netflix queue. There are a lot of movies, so I just chip away at them slowly but surely!
I’ve been slacking on this goal a bit, but I am determined to get to work on it, even if it’s just a little at a time. I really want to finish this goal, because I know this will make me SO much happier and calmer and less stressed, etc, etc.
Right now I’m reading my 30th book, Interview with the Vampire. When I’m finished with it, this goal will be complete.
- List 100 things I love about my husband
This is one goal I didn’t want to just rush through and write meaningless random things, but there have been a couple times where I have an idea, but never get around to posting it and then forget what it was, so I have to be a little better about this one.
This is pretty much done, it just seems like there is something else that has to be done before it’s complete. I will look into this tonight to figure out whether there is anything left or if I am in fact done.
I’ve started keeping up with each day and whether I eat at home or out. I was doing pretty good until last week, but this week is a new week to start fresh!
- Join the 43 Things (rental type) Movie Watchers Club.
This is just one of those fun goals, and I’ve seen every movie voted on so far and just waiting for the next one to arrive from Netflix.
- See every movie featuring Mary Tyler Moore, Reese Witherspoon, Bruce Willis, and Mark Wahlberg
Seeing as how I have quite a few goals involving watching movies, this one will just take time. I’ve seen three or four of these movies since adding the goal, so I’m happy with that.
I just marked this one as done!
I have a friend who scrapbooks, and we’re going to find a date to get together and get started on mine.
I’m in the midst of doing this right now. I’m not sure when I’ll mark it as done. I was planning on marking it done when I have all the kittens adopted out, but I may do it before then. We’ll see.
This takes time and money, but we’re working on little projects at a time. At the moment, we’re going back and finishing all the little projects that have been started and need finishing before we go onto the new projects.
I’m doing this right this second!
- Go to the Georgia Aquarium
This is one of those, you’ve done it or you have it, and obviously I haven’t
- Take an alphabet of photos
I haven’t worked on this in a while. I think I’ll try to make it a goal to attempt at least one letter every week.
This is another one that will take a while, but I’m working on it dollar by dollar
I might have to give up on this goal, because at this point, I honestly don’t care about the blanket anymore.
- Complete my collection of all the Disney classics
I adopted this goal, and then accumulated about 15-20 movies in a very short period. I have The Jungle Book on pre-order (comes out in October), so I’m happy with this one too.
- Visit the atlanta botanical gardens
Another, done it or haven’t, and I haven’t
We plan on visiting when we go on vacation next month!
As I mentioned above, we’re going on vacation next month, and as of now our planned trip idea will take us through Tennessee, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, and South Carolina. Three of those five are “new” states, so I’m making some progress here as well.
I learned some basics, but don’t really know where to go from there. I’m trying to find a person to help explain things, but I’m not having much luck
This is one of those…someday goals. It’ll probably be a long time!
Another someday goal and another long time.
I found a place where I can do this, now I just have to find time to go.
Football season starts soon, so I’m hoping I can accomplish this goal in the next few months!
This is pretty expensive, so we’re waiting for a special reason, like a birthday, anniversary, something like that.
Another someday, long time.
As far as I know, it’s not coming to the Fox anytime soon, and I’m not going to New York anytime soon, so we’ll just have to wait and see.
- See a movie in a drive-in
There is only one drive-in that is fairly close to where I live, and it’s in the ghetto, so I’ll have to wait until I can find one to stop at while on a trip somewhere farther away.
- Cheer on and encourage people who want to quit smoking!
I’ve been cheering here and there and only have a few more left until I can say done.
- Learn to love vegetables and fruit…or at least eat the damn things!
I was doing okay on this, and then I stopped. I don’t want to try new things!! They might be gross and taste bad, and I have problems with eating bad tasting food! :( I’ve just got to force myself to do things I think may be unpleasant.
- Watch AFI’S 100 Years… 100 Cheers Movies
A lot of the movies on here are on the Best Picture winners and AFI Top 100 lists, so I’m working on those lists which still marks some off this one too.
With the insane heat outside and the no rain, this one is a bit on hold right now.
Complete bust. I haven’t been to the gym in I don’t know how long. I’ve really got to sit down and decide if I really am going to do this or not and go or get rid of this goal.
- Watch all six feet under episodes
Just finished season 3 a little while ago. Working on some other shows right now, and then I’ll get started on season 4.
I’ve got to learn some more html or how to update the existing one or something, before I can make any progress. I really want to get this done though! Really bad!!!!!
- Have an awesome vacation to see Edguy in concert
I have my tickets, and we’re getting ideas for the rest of our week. I can’t wait!!
I’m kind of surprised. There are a few I need to really work on, but there are quite a few that I’m working on and doing well, so I’m doing a little better than I thought. Just working on this list got me motivated, and I worked on some of my neglected things today. Hooray!
