Go fishing on the Kenai River

John, Conrad, Greg, Don Sr. and I floated the upper Kenai river this past Saturday. Beautiful 70F day with cottonwood in the air and torquoise silt water. John caught two red salmon at our first stop, but the rest of us came up fishless. Still, one of the best fishing trips ever because of the company and the beautiful Kenai River.

It’s 6/23/2005 and I’m headed to the airport today to jump a plane to Anchorage, Alaska. My brother is picking me up and we’ll be fishing first thing Saturday morning on the Kenai. I hear the reds are running. I’ll take pictures and report back to 43T on my progress.

My brother Conrad lives in Anchorage, Alaska—we’re planning a fishing trip on the Kenai River next month when I’m up in Anchorage to visit the family. I can hardly wait!
