improve my credit

I was denied for a high-end credit card recently, so I have decided to work on improving my credit.
Today, I pulled 1 of my credit reports using http://www.annualcreditreport.com and pulled my credit score using Credit Karma.

My next step is to join a Credit Union and apply for one of their credit cards. This will be a long, long process.

oh crap… I gotta go to the bank tomorrow and send my $30 to the CC company because its due the 12th. I have been paying on time and damn it all to hell is I EVER MAKE A LATE PAYMENT AGAIN. mostly because i am rebuilding my cred plus I wanna ask for an increase before UNI starts

I want to prove that I’m a trustworthy consumer!

My next payment is april 17th and i have the funds already I’m not even gonna risk it. I will keep the cash in my acct for the 17th so my credit is on the way up!

take a minute and set this up. best thing to ever happen to you finacially if you are late on payments!!

Hey I was gonna come on here and ran about how my lack of focus has cost me money again but i just noticed something. Would I rather pay $9 or $39 dollars?

I say $9!

My credit limit is just about over and If i sent the check last night like what would have been a better idea, I wouldn’t need the extra $9 fee i have to pay for online bill pay with my CC company! But its cool. all that matters is that I pay my bill on time and give on my goal of improving my credit.

I wont let this little slip get me down. My progress is still going well!

ok, not really. I got credit as early as any human possibly could and along the way i had some screwups. Its good i started so young though because I had more time to make mistakes and learn before I even had to move out on my own.

I am very proud of having credit and knowing things no one else my age knows (at least around these parts). Now is the time to build it up and have excellent credit by the time everyone else is just getting theres’. MUHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!

My first goal (mini piece) is to stay current on my credit card payments, then in 6 months to ask for a credit rate reduction and/or credit limit raise.

Another mini piece of my goal is to remove all collections and negatives from my credit report. (send letters to debt collectors then pay in full)

The end of March, I will order my free report. To see my progress. My goal is to have at least a score of 700. Any suggestions?
