    I asked for, and received a dulcimer for my 50th birthday last year and it remains as, wall art. A friend, who is over 60, told me she was never musically inclined either and learned to play it pretty quickly.
    I have several books, a tuner and the time, I just can’t get it. But….I will!

    So, it turns out... 3 years ago

    ... that the dulcimer is a really stupid instrument. I mean, look at it. It’s just so stupid. I think I’m going to be laying this one to rest soon and file it under ‘what the hell was I thinking’.
