I have saved $150 specifically for buying a home.

You’ve got to start somewhere, right???

recently, work contracts have seen me spend way too much time in the city .. this in turn has helped me realize how much i prefer to be surrounded by trees, open skies and fresh air rather than by buildings and the hustle bustle of downtown .. so, ive started to question .. what is it that i need to give up so that i may arrive at the place i want to call home?

i suspect that one of the answers will be something about giving up my attachment to the amount of money i feel i need to earn

I went to a home that is a center for healing, and there were yurts on the property… I love the yurts!

I had a thought about working a bit extra during the summers, and then banking all that money for a down payment on a home.

I love it when I get a good idea!

For now, I can do the Green Thing: use CFL’s, bring my own bags to the market, drive less, reduce, reuse, recycle, etc…

But, oh, I dream of solar-paneled rooftops…

Is deep in the woods, radically self-reliant, and overflowing with friends, family, food, and song.

My dream house offers succor, healing, and joy to all who seek its comforts.

My dream house answers to no utility company.
