And, while I think my friends appreciate it, I do it for me. I like this method of keeping in touch. An actual written note, plus probably a typed one (let’s face it, few people can read my writing, as it resembles my father’s, not my mother’s), is a real visceral way for me to be thinking about that person, imagine the conversation, even if it’s one-way. I really like this, so I’ll continue.

Admittedly I’ve not got a lot of choice at the minute as I’m somewhere where there’s not a great deal of internet access. As a result it’s easy for me to complete this goal
It does feel strange at first – a little TOO personal if you know what I mean – but really it is no big deal.
Put pen to paper. Now!

I love this one. Love. I am the biggest lover of memorabilia . I love looking back and re-reading letters, or looking back at pictures. Instead of emailing my friends who live far away, a letter is more special. A letter shows a greater touch of effort, of care. I want to write my friends letters, because I love them.
