have peace

I think I’ll have more peace with less people in my house…there was too much noise and too much bs going on…

I think the place really does matter! In a place like Colorado, it sure helps…looking at the sunrise at the rockies is something very peacefull!

I’ve been fortunate enough to have been in a place to get my problems out in the open and process them. I feel better now than I ever have in my life. I am happy when I wasn’t sure I could ever feel this good again. I still have problems, but they don’t matter the way they used to and I am better prepared to deal with them.

I have taken stock of what I have instead of what I don’t and it has made a difference. It’s about perspective….and that doesn’t change easily but it can change. Something shifts inside.

I used to think it was about reading certain books or adopting new ways of living, but it isn’t. It’s more about yourself and getting to know you better than anyone else and not relying on anyone else to keep you going. Help, yes – but you have the knowledge that you can handle things on your own if you need to.

That to me helped me find peace. And helped me sleep at night so much better than ever.

To anyone in desperate need in whatever area of your life.

The bible states in John 14:6

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

If you pray this simple prayer with your heart and soul, I guarantee your life will change.

“Dear God I know I’m a sinner, I know I am not where I want to be, and I want your forgiveness! I believe that Jesus died on the cross to pay the price for my sins.

Please wash me clean from all sin, shame, and guilt, come into my life Jesus to be my Lord and Savior. I ask this in your name Jesus.

My life has been turmoil (hasn’t everyone’s). Violence, rebellion, family disarray, insecurity, instability, financial burdens, health problems, and the inability to be at peace.
For the past 4 years I have absolved most everything mentioned above with the exception of the health problems and financial burdens. (yes, stress causes physical disease).

Still no peace…..

All of us are in search for something. We try to find things to satisfy us. We feel empty inside and we feel the need to be loved by someone. We feel lonely, do you ever stop and wonder why?

Stop and think!

Is there a God? Is it true what people say, that God exists? Some people say he doesn’t, some people say he does. How is it that we are here on earth? So many doubts..so many questions.

But I know one thing, there is someone out there that cares. There is someone out there that knows how you feel when you are hurting..when you feel there’s no hope..when your heart needs something..when nothing fills you up.

John 3:16 – For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

What does this mean? It means there is a God that cares. His love is so great..so deep..and it’s beyond our reach to understand his love for us. Oohh..but if only we would believe in him. Why is it so hard to understand that God exists and that he loves us so very much? Is it the problems..the hardships..the bad times? If you live in anguish or are frightened by what you have lived in life.

Turn you eyes towards Jesus. He is there. THERE IS HOPE!!!!!...........
