Publish a scientific paper

I am working on the rewrites on a paper on meditation that we hope will get submitted soon. And there is another one on a statistical method for genetic problems. That one is a conference paper, but it is refereed and fully reviewed, so I’d count it.

This goal should really be publish (another) scientific paper, but that seems too specific.

Well it was bound to happen sooner or later. The first one got published so easily.

Paper number 3 needs a good two more days of work then it is off to my boss for his inevitably annoying comments/revisions. But it may still go in before mid-January. Just to be more realistic, let’s say by the end of January.

Paper two is still in the system (59 days) and still in review. Wasn’t expecting it to clear over the holiday, but I hope it clears soon!

Looked in on the online progress page and the paper is in review!

Technically this is my second paper, but it just went to the action editor today. Yay! Number 3 is about to get written up, have the data already. Work work work…

I’m brainstorming and looking through published literature right now.
Hopefully by the end of August I’ll have a draft to show to my supervisor.

It has been about a year since my last publication. I need another quick! As usual my boss is dragging his feet. Need something else to work on that leads to a publication…quick!

Long dry couple of weeks.

Sadly my summer paper is not going out this summer. Crap. But a secondary project is gaining speed.

I am going to bang out a draft of the methods section tomorrow or Friday for the paper nearest to completion. Unfortunately the number 2 and 3 projects are not getting traction, so my goal of 3 in review or out by January of next year may not happen. But one should be in the pipe by early Fall and another will be half-written and collecting some additional data then, too.

Oh, and there is this review I need to write.
