I once wanted it, but now I’m not really interested anymore.
How to go to mongolia
How I did it: Well, I was living in Korea and it was the summer of ‘06. My family didn’t really have anything big planned yet, so we all decided we wanted to go somewhere close and exciting. Mongolia was at the top of our list. So we found a great tour guide from Boojum Expeditions and we had an awesome time. There were so many things to do, such as visit the Gobi, listen to the traditional throat singing, and ride horseback around Lake Khovsgol. It was a very fun experience. I would suggest you visit you visit the Boojum website before your trip.
Lessons & tips: I would first off browse for a tour guide. Check out Boojum Expeditions. They're awesome. I would also be willing to try new things, and don't be afraid of your food. (The first night I had horse, the remaining days the ger camps cooked us three gourmet meals a day.)

Not so much anymore. I have done my research and would like to go elsewhere. I mean if someone offers me a trip there I won’t be like ” no I don’t wanna go” but it’s not like I am gonna go out of my way or anything
My church has missionaries who serve in Mongolia and I would like to join them for a little bit and help out.
From the 17 countries ive visited so far this year, Mongolia was the best!!! Really great people and lots of things to do. We stayed with a mongolian family in their gur camps for 4days in the middle of nowhere and it was incredible. Im going back – definately.
Ever since I learned about the Mongols in AP World History, I’ve been obsessed with Mongolia. I plan to go next summer for a summer program at the National University of Mongolia. yay :)
for this year. We both realized, C and I, that we’re probably not done to go on holidays together, though we like each other very much : I’m an organized freak, and she just let herself live… I don’t believe I can afford this for a three weeks trip.
So, let’s see if I can go to Chile with A and H…
dunno how realistic it is, but it has been a goal for me for a long time.. I can see myself riding those little horses in those great plains… aaaahhh…freedom… Always been a bit intrigued by that country.
