Not really sure it has been worth it. I got a 7% raise this year, the highest possible, partly because of my educational attainment. Still, the courses were so costly financially and personally. I wonder how long it will be before I recoup the outlay. GLAD, GLAD, GLAD that it’s over.

It should be here any day. If it hasn’t arrived by July 1st, I’ll be calling the school. I’ve already cleared unwanted textbooks off my bookshelf and boxed them up in preparation for trading them in.

This was one of my original entries, and it was a biggy. I can’t believe the time has come to check it done, but I said when I was done with my independent project, done I would be!!! Can’t wait for that glorious piece o’ paper to arrive in the mail :) Seriously, apart from that piece of paper, this has made me such a better teacher. I am really proud of myself for that.

I am only halfway through my bachelor’s degree at the moment. Finishing that doesn’t seem very difficult for me, but earning a master’s seems more of a challenge.

Once I hand my final paper in to my advisor, I will check this DONE! And that will be THIS WEEK (has to be!). OMG, this goal has been so long in the making. I need to just buckle down and FINISH that paper.
I earned my master’s degree last year. It was probably the hardest thing I ever did in my life. It was worth it though, not just for the career/finance benefit, but to know that if I can get through that, I can do just about anything.

and I am excited! However, my final project is still in progress, so until I get that done, I will leave this up on the list. But the number of hurdles are decreasing . . . this goal is very close to being done! Three years later! Yippeeeeeeeeeee!
I am not yet sure what I want to Master in… perhaps educational leadership so that I can later be a principal… or special education… or something more specific to literacy??? I just know that I would like to earn my Masters degree by the time I am 30! (:
