budget better

so this is the deal, i have found that to stress less about money issues before i am expecting an influx of money i create a spreadsheet in excel and itemize everything that needs to be paid… then as i go down the list in a column marked paid and another with the date paid, not only am i experiencing the tremendous relief of getting my bills paid but i don’t have to keep numbers and dates inside my head which frees up my mind for more fun, creative pursuits. Also, it actually lets me have some ‘petty cash’ which i can use for whatever my fickkle heart desires. stress = poof! yay :-)

I need to learn how to budget and live inside that budget.
