How I did it: My dad gave me some money for my birthday. I went to the Kittery Trading Post in Kittery, Maine and found the best pair of Frye boots - and I bought them.I love wearing them. They look great with everything, especially with dresses. I feel taller and feel more powerful. Like I could kick the shit out of everything. I feel sexy when I wear them, even though they are not dainty or delicate or feminine at all. Read how I did it…

Saafir is planning his best year yet
I walked in the shoe repair shop to have them look at the badly worn heels on my favorite (only) pair of black shoes. I walked out with a great pair of cowboy boots. I had to dye them black, but they are fantastic. They couldn’t repair my dress shoes: it would cost more than I paid for them in the first place.

If you ride, by all means buy the boots. But if your just getting them for fashion, i say there too expensive and not really that cute. We’re not all Jessica Simpson.
I’ve been looking around for some cost friendly ones that my budget compliments, to no avail. I was thinking of heading down the street to the strip, but I haven’t. Kinda scared I’ll walk in and quickly head back out again, horrified by overpricing. If there’s nothing I hate more, it’s going into a store where the prices are sky high and the merchandise consists of grandmother crafting. I’d ask my grandmother to make little accessories and such for me, but i’m afraid she might FORGET she was making it for ME and give it to another grandchild. Can’t take that chance.
If anyone knows of a place where the boots are of nice design and craftmanship and not too pricey. Shoot me a message. Thank you in advance.
