Take the CBEST

I only had a week to study. The test went well, but I am out of writing practice and took over half the time to write 2 essays. The results will be back in another few weeks. I hope I passed.

Ok that wasn’t so bad at all. I just hate tests in general. Passed it on first try. I can’t believe they expect teachers to jump through hoops and treat them like glorified babysitters. I swear, this country needs to get its priorities straight. You want to attract the best teachers to raise the new generation, and yet you give them little incentive. Teaching isn’t about the money, but give teachers a choice to teach, don’t make the job a compensation prize.

I took the CBEST about 3 years ago and passed on the first try. The test was pretty easy…I didn’t really have to study for it. I remember most of the questions being at the elementary grade level.

after all the fuss today, I finally took it. not as bad as I expected. =)
