Drink strawberry wine in the heat of July

I did this yesterday with my husband. It had to be July, because that is how the song goes.

For any country fan (and even most who aren’t, but have been around) knows that “Strawberry Wine” goes “The hot July moon saw everything”, and therefore, drinking strawberry wine in June or August just wouldn’t do.

So last night, only 2 hours before midnight, I got the two champagne glasses my husband’s family bought us for our wedding, washed them, and he and I sat on the porch with the crickets chirping, and drank strawberry wine.

The moon was out, so I’m sure it saw everything. (;
