I got a fireplace installed in my new place. Goodbye useless electric baseboard heater!
Now I could use a some good window shades (or replacement windows) and a heavier comforter.

I picked up a few cute hats recently. I never feel like my head is cold, but having a hat on definitely makes me feel better.

A friend of mine recommended that I get some boots. That was great advice! I’ve gotten several pairs of cute and cozy boots. I especially love the Canadian boots: warm and waterproof.

Next on the list: making my new place warmer.

Picked up a pair of cheap chenille gloves yesterday. They’re soft, fuzzy, and warm, although they don’t fit that great. I think finding a hat I like will be harder.

I left a pair of gloves somewhere over the holidays. Looks like I’m gonna need another pair. Maybe another hat as well. I wish I was one of those people who runs warmer.
