get off the ship before it sinks and have faith that everything will work out ok

- the ship being the company I was working for up until last week. It’s on the brink of collapse and by Monday my husband and I will be owed more than two months of unpaid wages, of which I doubt we will ever see a single yen. Right now I’m just trying to focus on the second part of this goal – we can’t leave Japan until we get my husband’s spousal visa, which we both pray is coming any day now.
